What is it that drives you to get out of bed every morning? What is it that puts a smile on your
face on those gloomy days?
Many of us might struggle to find answers to such questions and believe they are just words – I
mean, who really has it all figured out, right?
Right, and wrong...
I wish life was a garden of roses where you could easily walk anytime without getting any pain.
However, there are days of sunshine and then there are those dark cloudy days when you just
dread everything around you, let alone look at yourself in the mirror. But hey, you know what? It
is just a bad phase, not a bad life!
June 25 is acknowledged as Emotional Wellness Day, and if you stopped by looking for
some words to help you through the days, here is a little something you can hold on to:
It’s true! None of us have it all figured out! Those social media reels and tiktoks may force you
to think otherwise, but trust us – it's REEL and not REAL. Everyone around us is going through
something they may not have answers to – financially, emotionally, physically, or socially! So the
first thing is, don’t be so hard on yourself
Wondering what could help? It is the little things, the small actions:
- Did you try taking a walk outside, a jog, or just a little stretching at home?
Exercise of any and all sorts helps, as it releases the happy hormones and gets
your brain to look forward to something more
- Do you have activities or hobbies that you love indulging in? They don’t need
to be complicated things! Something as simple as watching a nice long TV show,
grabbing some colors & indulge in art, or even socializing for that matter!
- Look up some activities on https://allevents.in/canada! There are so many
events going on around the city all the time! Choose what you like and don’t think
twice! And do not be afraid to go alone!
- You may find it hard, but call up someone – anyone, and just release the heart of your emotions to heart. You do not need to take anyone’s advice, but you do
need to let it go
I heard someone say a beautiful thing recently. He said, It's just important to get out of bed
every morning, no matter what's going on. Life has a magical way of bringing to you what’s
meant for you. Right now, you may not feel so, but it’s true. So keep up till it is your last breathe,
because when you look back, you will know, it was all connected and it was just meant to be.
